German Skilled Worker Specialist (SWS) Bridge Program

As per to the German Federal Employment Agency, the country requires 400,000 immigrants each year. In addition, the government must prioritise targeted immigration to fill gaps in the country's labour market. To bring in more immigrants, which is the most logical and effective solution.

The Skilled Immigration Act of 2020 is a new law that increases the number of job opportunities for qualified professionals in Germany. It is now easier for skilled workers with non-academic training from non-EU countries to migrate to Germany to work.

We assist graduates and professionals with non-German qualifications in education, nursing, information technology, and electronics in finding their ideal job in Germany and relocating with their families.

Our online Bridge Program is specially designed for non-German speakers who aim to take up employment in Germany. The Bridge Programs, taught by German instructors, include German language and job preparation courses with on-demand multi-media modules and live online German language courses, webinars on German business culture, and small-group workshops on special topics in working and living in Germany.

What Can XIPHIAS do for you ?

Aside from our training programme and assistance in finding a suitable job in Germany. Our services continue until you and your family are settled in Germany. We can assist with travel arrangements, including flight bookings, and notify our counterpart in Germany to prepare for your arrival after the applicant receives their Employment Visa.

Our German representative meets candidates at the airport, arranges transportation, and places them in a decent hotel for 2-3 days.

During this time, candidates attend orientation seminars organised by our representative. Meanwhile, our German counterpart finds suitable rented housing based on the client's budget and assists the candidate in relocating to the new residence, settling in, and taking a tour of the neighbourhood. The candidate is then accompanied by our German representative to their employer for introduction and signing of their job contract for 3 or 5 years, renewable thereafter.

Post that, the candidate is assisted in opening bank accounts and registering with appropriate authorities such as the Housing Authority, the statutory pension insurance authority, and the health insurance. After that, candidates are taken to the Foreigner's Office to extend their stay.

Our local assistant will be on call for three years to provide immigration and work-related assistance to candidates, ensuring compliance with German immigration regulations and assisting candidates in finding new jobs if necessary.
