Overview
The most recent Ontario PNP Tech Draw was held on 1st August 2019 with a CRS score of 435, where 1773 applications received Notifications of Interest under IT occupations for Canadian immigration. This was the second draw after the new stream launched in July 2019, targeting Information Technology Skilled Professionals.
The number of invitations has increased rapidly with a decreasing CRS score. The first draw on 12th July 2019 had 1623 invitations, while the second draw increased to 1773 invitations. This trend indicates higher approvals for IT-skilled professionals in upcoming draws.

About the Ontario PNP Tech Stream
The Ontario PNP Tech Stream assesses qualified IT profiles from the Express Entry pool. Selected candidates receive a Notification of Interest following the OINP Tech Express Entry draw.
This program is designed to attract IT-skilled professionals globally and address labour shortages in Canada. By 2021, approximately 220,000 skilled workers were projected to be needed in the Information and Communication Technology sector.
