Saskatchewan, on 28th November, conducted the most recent Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand draw, inviting 460 skilled workers to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian PR.
The SINP Express Entry sub-classification is linked to the Federal Express Entry Program.
- Express Entry applicants: 200 invitations, provincial nomination grants 600 extra CRS points, ensuring an ITA in the next round.
- Occupations In-Demand applicants: 260 invitations, no job offer required.
Applicants must have at least 1 year of work experience in an eligible skilled occupation related to their field of study.
Since 25th September, SINP has conducted 15 draws, issuing 5,689 invitations to both Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry candidates. The list of eligible occupations expanded from 19 to over 200, covering a wide variety of professions.
In the 28th November draw, applicants from 97+ occupations were invited.
To apply under Occupations In-Demand or Express Entry, candidates must submit an EOI (Expression of Interest) to SINP, scored out of 100. The minimum score in this draw was 69. Applicants with foreign degrees must have an educational credential evaluation (ECE).
