Recent Manitoba Draw Issues 347 Invitation

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) led its most up-to-date draw on 12th September. The draw welcomed 347 skilled workers and international students to apply for a provincial nomination.

The MPNP has issued more than 700 invitations under the following streams in less than a month:

• Skilled Workers in Manitoba
• International/Universal Education Stream
• Overseas Skilled Workers

Manitoba has issued 6,157 invitations so far in 2019, covering all three sub-streams.

Out of the 347, 45 invitations were issued to Express Entry candidates, and 254 invitations went to the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. Foreign students and skilled foreign workers who are already employed in a full-time, permanent job in Manitoba can apply under this category.

The candidates with a minimum score of 545 were filtered in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream.

53 invitations were issued under the Skilled Workers Overseas classification through the Strategic Recruitment Initiative, according to CIC News. The lowest scoring applicant in this category had a score of 706.

Under the International Education Stream, 40 invitations were issued by the MPNP. There are three sub-classifications under this stream:

• Graduate Internship Pathway
• Professional Employment Pathway
• Student Entrepreneur Pathway
