FAQs
1) Why was the CRS cutoff high (782)? PNP-only draws include candidates with a provincial nomination, which adds +600 CRS points and pushes the cutoff higher.
2) How can I get the extra 600 points? Secure a provincial nomination through a participating Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and accept it in your Express Entry profile to add 600 points.
3) Does this impact Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) or CEC candidates? This was a PNP-only draw. FSW and CEC candidates are considered in all-program or program-specific draws announced by IRCC.
4) What should I do after receiving an ITA? Submit a complete eAPR (work history, education, police certificates, medicals, proof of funds where applicable) within IRCC’s deadline to proceed toward PR.
