XIA · Program Index

How the Program Index is scored.

Understand exactly what drives the XIPHIAS Program Index. The methodology publishes every factor, weight and limitation so the benchmark can be interpreted responsibly.

How it works

  1. 01

    Review the six factors

See how affordability, timing, presence, family, due diligence and destination mobility are defined.

  2. 02

    Understand the weighting

Each factor produces a 0–100 sub-score and contributes its published percentage to the composite result.

  3. 03

    Check the limitations

Use data-confidence indicators and the methodology disclaimer before comparing or acting on a ranking.

What you receive

Personalised assessment
Evidence and risk gaps
Advisor-ready next steps

Affordability

22%

Lower capital scores higher

Anchored on the parsed minimum investment. Points-based routes with no investment score highest.

Processing speed

20%

Shorter timelines score higher

Uses the parsed indicative timeline in months.

Presence flexibility

16%

Lower required presence scores higher

Uses the physical-presence proxy honestly — no fabricated day counts.

Family inclusion

12%

Family-inclusive routes score higher

Whether a spouse and dependants can typically be included.

Due-diligence ease

14%

Lower scrutiny scores higher

Derived from the risk tier; enhanced/high checks reduce the sub-score.

Destination mobility context

16%

Higher visa-free mobility scores higher

Applied to citizenship routes only. Other route families use a neutral value because residence or work status does not automatically grant a passport.

How the score is combined

Each factor produces a 0–100 sub-score from the parsed programme data. The index is the weight-multiplied average of those sub-scores (weights sum to 100). Destinations outside the passport snapshot use a neutral baseline for the passport-power factor, clearly flagged on each card.

Indicative composite benchmark — varies by case and is not a ranking of guaranteed outcomes. Advisor review required.
