519 Invitations were Issued in the latest Draw of British Columbia

British Columbia held the most recent draw on 17th September. In the draw under Express Entry, Skill Immigration, and Entrepreneur Stream, 519 total invitations were issued.

The draw was held on the 17th September 2019. It was the 36th draw of the BC Provincial Nominee Program. BC PNP has issued a sum of 5,499 ITAs in 2019 up until this point.

In the most recent draw, 481 invitations went out to Express Entry and Skills Immigration candidates. 30 ITAs were issued to competitors in the Entrepreneur Stream-Base class. Under Entrepreneur Stream-Regional Pilot total of 8 invitations were issued.

Skilled and semi-skilled experts who are working in high demand in British Columbia can apply under the Skills Immigration category.

Applicants who have a valid profile in the Express Entry Pool may apply under the BC Express Entry sub-category. Qualified competitors should be willing to live in BC permanently and furthermore meet the necessities of the BC PNP.

The cut-off score for both the Express Entry and Skill Immigration classes in the recent draw fell somewhere between the range of 92 and 101 points.

Entrepreneurs who need to set up a business in the provincial territories of BC or individuals who need to start or invest and effectively deal with a business in British Columbia can apply under the Entrepreneur category.

The minimum score for the Entrepreneur category ranged somewhere between 108 and 115 in the most recent draw.

Eligible applicants under the Entrepreneur category must exhibit board and business experience. Entrepreneurs need to have a net worth of at least $300,000, for the Regional Pilot category. According to CIC News, the net worth required for the Base category is at least $600,000.

The BC SIRS (Skills Immigration Registration System) manages all the provincial nominee categories.

The eligible applicants must have to create their accounts on the SIRS, to apply for a provincial nomination. Every candidate is then given a score dependent on elements like education, work experience, language proficiency, etc.
